Company Founders, James and Dawna Foreman, have
been evolving as entrepreneurs since they created their
first company, Feather River Culinary Artists in 1996.
The company,
located in Sonoma County, California, catered
3 meals a day to corporate meetings, retreat groups
and workshops. All of the work was done at retreat
centers north of the San Francisco Bay Area in Napa,
Lake, Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. The Foremans
continue to don their chef caps to work for a few
Feather River Culinary clients each
year.
Business number two, All
About Retreats began between catering
gigs in 1998 when a primary catering referral
source dried up. As traveling retreat chefs, the
Foremans had come to know retreat centers intimately.
In the day, there was no central repository of practical,
reliable information that meeting planners could
reference about these unique and often remotely located
retreat venues. All About Retreats filled the niche
for that information and handily referred a few catering
gigs to Feather River Culinary Artists.
All About Retreats' website was launched
in 1999. Inherent in its growth and development
was management of the website in house.
The software, hardware, and skill sets were acquired
and All About Retreats soon burst on the scene offering
its listing retreat and conference centers high search
engine rankings which brought an abundance of group
meeting business to them.
James' fluency in search engine
optimization and refined understanding of the creative
process, in tandem with Dawna's talents as wordsmith
and marketer, became the mothers of invention for Feather
River Productions and the expertise it offers it's
clientele.
The Foremans bring over 10 years of experience
as owners of two successful businesses, and their web
marketing expertise to each client project. This is
truly a rare jewel in the universe of web designers
and developers, and complements the technical and artistic
expertise of their team.
